It’s not that I don’t have any interesting stories to tell, I probably do, it’s just that I can’t remember any exactly at the moment. I think retelling an interesting story is something you need to plan out and mentally make yourself remember it properly. I was thinking of maybe trying to remember some interesting stories to tell but interesting stories in my mind I do not think are conventionally what someone else would consider very interesting and I am not sure if I could really make them into a legitimate blogpost/s.
So, it is still something I am considering if I can even think of anything to begin with. I’m not entirely sure what a conventional interesting in-real-life story would really be, I don’t think I have really got out enough or have been in such a usual position to have an interesting story in that way, or at least if I have, I don’t remember it. I have a few childhood stories on the tip of my brain that could make some kind of a blogpost and I can try and give my perspective as best as possible, but I really don’t think there is too much to come up with, ultimately.
So, there are some things like, talking about the first time we got a dog… would that be interesting? That dog is still alive by the way. Or like how I used to be scared of the fire alarm in primary school, I don’t really see how I could make that into a single blogpost. But perhaps if I come up with multiple small stories like that… which are maybe funny? I could squeeze them into a blogpost. I was thinking of also utilizing the procreate mobile app to design some pictures to go along side it, but I think I probably need to get better at art first, I need a lot more practice on that app. But I think I can do it.
I had originally been talking about some things that I have experienced and my perspective and thoughts on it like maths and identity and some other things I can’t remember at the moment, but I am thinking of like stories that are much more specific and identifiable in a much more personally social context, if that makes sense, I probably didn’t word that correctly so don’t worry about it, but I know what I mean.
Lately I also been thinking of giving some more blogging time to things I am currently doing as well, like the games I am playing, as in giving my thoughts on them, or anything I watch. Like at the moment I am watching Britain’s Got Talent and so far I think it has been kind of boring and not as good as previous years, I can only really recall one exciting act really. Oh, and I can talk about this big chocolate Easter egg I got for Easter. So yeah, there are a lot of things I can talk about, it’s just is it really worthwhile.
I mean, I have already talked about some games I commonly played and games I have previously played, but I am more thinking instead of lists, going more in-depth into a game I am playing and my deeper thoughts on it and the direction I think it’s going, I could potentially do it with movies and TV shows as well but what I don’t want to happen is for it to end up becoming a review thing, as I think generally those things don’t work, as there are already plenty of websites for that. I also don’t think I am super unique in my views on things, like some people can be really different and refreshing on something. I’ll just have to see.
But yeah the main thing right now is to note down some potentially interesting stories in my life so far and see what I can do with them and if it works they’ll appear here at some point on my blog and if they don’t, well, you’ll know nothing about it cause it’ll be scrapped.
Oh, and I really, really, really need to reach out to forums and something and try and get more traffic to my blog. I keep subconsciously putting it off because I don’t like feeling as if I am just bothering people with advertising.
