Keir Starmer has become the first candidate to fully qualify for the Labour Leadership Election after getting three unions/affiliate groups representing 5% of the membership after he was backed by The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers (Usdaw).
The other candidates still have yet to reach this qualification. It is widely expected Long-Bailey will reach this goal at some point. As for the other candidates we will have to wait and see. 14th Feb is the deadline.
