So just the other Friday I talked about me and my brother moving to our own place soon and already we have a place that we are going to be looking at soon and for all I know we could be moving in there within as soon as a week or two, although we do have until at least October to make a decision on the place, so there is plenty of time to spare and also see if anything else comes up, I plan to look at the place soon, it is in a nearby seaside town so it should be good, and also feel similar-ish to now as I currently live in a seaside town anyway.
The area is good since there is a nearby pier with amusements in walking distance and they will often have an annual airshow in the Summer which I would be able to easily walk to and observe. As well as that the place has arcades and other amusements as well that I might check out from time to time and there are supermarkets and stores in close distance, it seems on the outside to look like a great area, just need to now see what the actual home will look like on the inside.
So it is quite an exciting time, when I do move I plan to leave my laptop at the current home until broadband gets fixed up at the new place so I can keep scheduling my blogs, although there is a chance there may still be some slight interruptions as we’ll get things ready and prepared to move and begin moving over whenever that takes place.
As said, I will be trying my best to document this journey on this blog as it happens.
Outside of that I have a bit of news on the upcoming Haunted Files series now in that I have basically finished the 5-part series, prison; house; hotel; ocean-liner; castle. Make of that list what you will but each one is to do with each of the 5-parts of the series of the Haunted Files. I am really hoping these bring a bit more traffic to the blog as I am really going to try and advertise them the best I can before beginning their release.
I still need to add photos to each part but that should not take too long, although I yet do not have an exact date of when I will begin releasing them, it will probably be within the next month or so but possibly sooner, depending on how much I try and promote it first and if I decide to make any last minute changes to any of the parts.
Now I am going to tease another upcoming series, it is going to be a very similar format to the Haunted Files series although it will be a while yet before their release, although I do hope to have them begin being released perhaps around about from Halloween, either the lead up to it or just after that point.
Let’s just say it is going to be about the unexplained but without the focus on hauntings…
On top of that I do also have a plan for a 3rd type of series also with a similar format but it is likely something I won’t start working on until next year or near to the end of this year, so I won’t say anything else on that yet – but I have ideas!
If Haunted Files turns out to go well and analytics show it as a fair success then I will certainly be doing a “series 2” of Haunted Files, heck even if it doesn’t do as well as I want I’d probably still do another series anyway, my blog is still young yet and so I can’t expect too much, but gradual increases in readership is my goal and also increasing the number of returning readers as well, on this front there has been increases, I am getting a good 30-views per blog post on average, sometimes jumps to 40s, 50s and 60s on some blogposts, so that it already a lot better than originally where I only got 1-10 views per post if anything.
So yeah once I have done the photos for the Haunted Files series, then work shall begin on the new ‘unexplained’ series, so I expect work on that series to begin in the next 1-2 weeks and again it shall be a 5-part series.
