The Men in Black is perhaps one of the strangest and most bizarre mysteries there is in the United States of America and also other parts of the world from time to time. Often described as strange, robotic-like humanoids who do not at-all act like humans. Often, they are as is in the name, dressed up in black suits, although sometimes other uniforms, but their skin is often described as pale white with bland facial features and lack of emotion.
Some believe they could be robots while others say they are aliens, although some are more human-like. Many believe they work for the US government and other governments around the world, often to cover up unexplained events, normally in relation to aliens and UFOs, but also other strange events, where they threaten or talk people into silence. Other times it seems they just enjoy bewildering people for no reason, making them a mystery in and of itself.
So, on this topic I will bring up several obscure encounters with these strange… whatever they are?
The Encounters
Underground Cat
In the mid-1950s a woman called Maureen Abbot was waiting for a train on the Bakerloo underground line in London, UK. It was late at night and while waiting she claims to have witnessed a large black panther run along the tracks.
Now interestingly the UK is known for something called “Alien Big Cats” which are non-native species of wildcats that people claim exist and roam around certain parts of the UK, normally black panthers, but usually this is in the countryside in places such as Bodmin and Dartmoor. So, this encounter on an underground train station is even more strange.
Two days later the woman claimed she was visited by a government official who told her not to talk about the sighting, as they sat and drank a cup of tea together, cause it’s Britain so why not.
Anyway, that story is certainly a strange one. Could it be possible that there was an escaped animal on the underground and the government official had tried to silence her in an attempt to not cause panic? Or is there something more stranger going on? How did they know she had seen it? Perhaps from CCTV, but would they have any reason to check the CCTV… unless they were looking for something?
Teleporting Men?
An alleged encounter with the Men in Black happened to Steve Yankee, who was a UFO investigator, in September 1966. He was working a night shift at a paper mill and was visited by three men in black at 3 AM. He said that they asked him about the Philadelphia experiment, an apparent military experiment which the USS Eldrige Destroyer was cloaked, teleported and then went through time, but that it killed a number of sailors, who were also fused to the ship.
After the three MIB asked about this they then left the room. Yankee looked down the corridor they left down only to see they had seemingly vanished into thin air, Yankee said that there was a sense of dissipated energy.
Un-human like Behavior
In May 1967, a woman called Ralph Butler who lived in Minnesota, Owatonna and who had claimed to see UFOs and hear strange voices over her CB radio, was visited by a “Major Richard French”, who has facial features such as a pointed face and long hair and said he was interested in Ralph’s UFO sightings and CB Radio phenomena.
The woman also offered the man some jello, who she said attempted to drink it out of the bowl, rather than eating it like usual.
