Everyday people throughout the world suffer silently with mental health problems, with one of the biggest ones being depression. No one should suffer in silence and it is always important to be on the lookout and help those who are scared of helping themselves, perhaps because they don’t want to bother anyone with their problem or problems that they see as “insignificant” or “inferior” to other people or that they feel too much shame or embarrassment to do so.

You can give help most easiest to family members and friends. But, you could also do it with others you come in common contact with, such as work colleagues, acquittances, those people you often see each day on your routine walk to where ever you may be going, maybe your walk or travel to work or on a dog walk. As well as that those you meet online, even if they are anonymous to you and you feel they are struggling, you could be the person that gives them a push to get the help they need.
For those that are struggling with mental health, it is very important that you go out and get help, confide in those you trust most about it, family and friends. If you don’t have friends there are many support groups that you can join for free on the internet or your favorite social media website, that you can join and talk with others that have similar problems to you, although it is important to note that caution is still advised with those you don’t know, sadly some have bad intensions. But luckily those kinds of people are few and far between, especially on a private group that is well-moderated, if this still worries you it could be an idea to make a separate account without your photo and without personal information on it as an anonymous way to seek help while getting the same benefits, without the risk of a rogue user being malicious towards you.
It is very important that everyone puts their health first, it is understandable that some may also not do that as they fear not being able to have the money to pay for it, but there are always others to turn to, as I said earlier, it could be friends, family or online support groups who can put you on the steps towards doing what you need to do, just remember, there are others out there who have been through what you are going through and they have ways to help you out and put you on the right path, of which managed to help themselves.
There are many reasons why a person may struggle with mental health, it could be something they were born with or something they developed in later life or their mental health could be on the decline due to depression or anxiety, or both or even a combination of other mental health issues, depression and anxiety. Many things can contribute to all of this, perhaps some kind of health problem, perhaps struggles in family or social life, drugs or an event that has afflicted them. But no matter what it is, help is always there and there is always a path out of it. This is something these people need to be reminded, so they don’t give up hope.
