The Shadow People are strange alleged entities that, as you can guess, cast unexplained shadows, as if a person is standing there, but no one is in sight. There have been described many types, some tall, some short, some even with red glowing eyes. Some are described as evil while others are described as mischievous, while others dart in an out in the corners of people’s vision while remaining relatively hidden. Others have been described standing over people while they sleep, one well-known example is that of the Hat Man.

So, let’s go over an encounter with one of these strange entities.
The Encounter
This encounter comes from a reddit user called Ignis_fatuus_ and talks about an encounter with a shadow person at his co-workers haunted house.
He had only discovered from his co-worker through chatting one day about enjoying reading into and watching things about the paranormal, that he and his wife believed their house was haunted, mostly due to strange noises, smells and feelings they would get now and again in their house, that the wife later explained to him while picking up her husband (the co-worker), which led to them inviting Ignis to hang out at their house, so maybe he would see something, rather than it just being word of mouth.
On an evening they both had off, Ignis arrived at the house at about 8pm and pretty much just had a good time ordering pizza, drinking beer, while laughing and joking throughout. At about 10:30 Ignis decided to get ready to leave, also noting that nothing had yet happened, which he had expected.
But before he was to leave the co-worker friend asked Ignis to check out his manga collection first. They went to a spare bedroom where the friends’ collectibles were stored and the wife was also there as well. This is when the encounter begun, Ignis soon looked up to notice the wife staring behind him at the doorway of the bedroom, her face white as a sheet, the co-worker friend also then looked behind, with his jaw dropping at the sight, Ignis then slowly turns his head to also glimpse at whatever it was.
Right in the doorway, about 5 feet from them was the solid black outline of a person just standing there, for about a minute the three of them just stared at this shadow figure. Until it gradually faded away. After the encounter they were obviously all awe struck at the situation and the co-worker and his wife had never even seen anything such as that before in the house.
Ignis said that the figure at the time didn’t seem threatening, but as they walked out it seemed strangely cold in the hallway. Ignis struggled to sleep that night and lead to him questioning everything.
I think if something like this happened to me I would also be questioning everything. It must be a surreal experience. As I’ve said before all I’ve really witnessed from the paranormal are unexplained foot steps while exploring an old world war era fortfication in my local town. I’ve never really seen anything though, but perhaps that may be for the best…
