The Weekly Rambler is Ramping Up!

Not wrapping up but quite the opposite! It is ramping up! As can be seen I have got a new theme for the website that I think looks much better than the previous one that looked clunky and un-unique. Now sure it is still a free WordPress theme but nonetheless it looks much smoother to me and simpler and tidier. I will perhaps buy a WordPress theme at some point but I first want to build up a base audience.

So that is where the Weekly Rambler will be ramping up! It’s 2020 and it is time for change. From today I will be attempting to publish one-two blogposts per day from Monday-Friday which is going to make me busier than I have ever been. What it means is I am going to be working all day and every day to write up at least two blogposts. I started writing blogposts in the previous week each day so I will at least have a nice backlog that I can post if I slow down a little bit from time to time. But my goal is one-two blogposts per day excluding Saturdays and Sundays and also utilizing my function of scheduling blogposts to auto-publish content.

Simply just publishing one set blog post per week just isn’t enough if I want to take this seriously. Not only am I going to ramp up posts but I am also going to start reading many more blogs on a regular basis in an attempt to get ideas on what to post each and every day. I know it is going to be hard and taxing but it is my challenge for this year and hopefully long after. I need to start ramping up in a bid to have this blog go somewhere that is beneficial for me in doing it. This means building a community and actually trying to dedicate myself fully to this blog.

I also need to write up a schedule of my plans of what I will type up each and every day so I have some kind of direction. Giving myself a good and set schedule will also be good for my sanity rather than aimlessly wondering the realms of the internet for most of my time which should be more of a reward rather than something I constantly do.

As I have said my Paranormal Alphabet and A-Z functioning of countries governments series will be continuing but I will now be posting them at a faster rate among other content I come up with. I will also no longer be having a set schedule of what type of post goes up, instead I will post based around other ongoing events such as politics as this year will be a big one with the Labour leadership election and also the US Presidential Election later this year and all the primaries that come before it throughout the year, the first primaries actually begin next month!

Further on the US political content I am completely re-doing the US Presidential Candidate Profiles. I do not like the format I have done them in, the fact sheet-esqe way looks ugly to me and I want to make them look more like the current Labour Candidates profiles that I am currently working on which the first – on Keir Starmer – you will see later in February closer to when the leadership election kicks off. It is much more highly based on a wide-range of research across numerous articles and information sources and gives a more in-depth view on their history and stances.

I look forward to seeing how this experiment will pan out. Here is hopefully to a good start to 2020.
